Question:  Happy Fathers day! Who is your favorite character Dad in any book, and Why?
My favorite dad would be Luke from the Mortal Instruments Series, yeah, he's not biologically Clary's dad, but has been her father figure in all ways that matter. And another I love is Charlie from Twilight (yes I love twilight, I am not ashamed!)

Captcha:
If you have CAPTCHA word verification enabled on your blog, please take it off. It makes it much more difficult for readers to comment. Please look at Alisons CAPTCHA eradication Post to learn how to get rid of it.

NOTE I want to mention, I finally got my CAPTCHA OFF, as I really HATE it. I didn't know it was one, since i never said for it to be on when I set up my blog. But I guess its that way as a Default. Alisons Instructions work well, the look is a little different than it is in her screen shots, but i found it and got it done. Hope you all will get it off too. I have so many I can't get past it. My eyes are not what they used to be, and my daughter is not always home to help me. And the audio, is even worse on them.

  4. I haven't read the Mortal Instruments series, but it is on my TBR list. Which is enormous. Plus, in the short time I've been blogging- about 3 1/2 weeks- I've come across so many great books I've never heard of before that my TBR list is just getting out of control. I should push MI back up.

My favorite YA dad is Arthur Weasley from the Harry Potter series.

  5. Oh, and I took the Captcha thing of my comments section during Armchair BEA- they were asking people to do it to make commenting easier. I didn't notice any increase in SPAM comments- I got none, I'm still getting none, so I've decided to leave Captcha codes off unless it ever becomes an issue.

    1. good idea, its a pain, and I don't think we really have to worry much about spam, I know there are tons of people who wont comment if its on. I can't unless my daughter is home to help me. I can't understand the audio, and even if I zoom in, i can't evver make out ALL the letters and numbers for it, sometimes it takes me 8-10 tries, and I will usually just give up, lots of people I have followed or participated in events, where I never left a comment, because of that CAPTCHA, its really a pain. I felt so bad that mine was on until i found out, and have it off now. As for the Mortal Instruments, If i was you, i would push it up more, the movie starts filming this August, should be out next summer, would be good to have them read by then, as I think its going to be an amazing movie. I have re-read them 3 times now, AND the Infernal Devices, which is a Prequel, and its just as good, if not better than TMI they go good together.Have a great day

    1. I wanted to follow back but you do not have any follow buttons, like GFC, i am assuming that's how you followed me, as you have a blogspot blog, so if you get a button, i will come follow. I did the email one, but don't like doing email ones. I never see them, so its really pointless. I tried to leave you a comment at your blog, but I could not get past your CAPTCHA, and my daughter is not home now to help me. Sorry. Thanks for coming by

    1. Thats why I mentioned it, as i know many people do not know they have it on, or how to fix it, but now i will keep the link to Alison's page that has the instructions, to help everyone out. Think I will make a button linked to that, for everyone. I got the worst Captcha thing early, had characters that are NOT even on the keyboard. Maybe i will use part of the screen shot I took for my button, lol, just game myself an idea, lol. Thanks for stopping buy, and if you have trouble with removing the Captcha, let me know, I should be able to help, as its a little different now that what Alison posted.

  12. Hi, Michelle! Thanks for stopping by. I haven't read the MI series, but it's high on my list.

As for the Captcha button you mentioned above - Missie has some. Third one down... the league of ladies against Captcha. I have the pink one on my blog :D They're linked to Allison's post.

    Luke is a great choice!

  15. Yeah, Luke and Charlie are both great dads. Despite his awkwardness, Charlie still does his best to help Bella. And although Luke isn't Clary's real dad, he still treats her like a daughter.
