Great follow-up to Firelight. I do not want to add spoilers,so will keep it short. I was on the edge of my seat for most the book. Now anxiously waiting the 3rd book. You will not be disappointed.

Now she must return to the protection of her pride knowing she might never see Will again—and worse, that because his mind has been shaded, Will’s memories of that fateful night and why she had to flee are gone.
I recommend this series, this is the 2nd book in the Firelight series (Firelight is the first)
