Mark of the Witch Excerpts

My Review:

I absolutely love this book. It brings back those pleasant days I used to watch Charmed reruns over and over. I love books with Witches in them, especially when written as well as this one.
I am in love with William, what a perfect decent guy. I also loved that there was a supernatural I never heard of before , but I won’t tell you what, as it’s a spoiler. I can’t find anything at all that I didn’t like about this book. I just was wishing I was Jilly, as William is so hot!!!

I really was able to connect with Jilly, and felt bad for her that her twin and her were not getting along. But was happy when things started to work out. Her sister had refused to accept her gift when they turned 13 and came into their powers, and since then, they didn’t really even talk. The majority of this book takes place with the girls in their 20’s, but is fit to be read by all ages. Has some clean romance, not sex scenes (just some kissing, and its steamy, but all clean still, which I like)

I won’t say too much as this is a pretty short book, and do not want to spoil the fun in it. I did not refresh my memory from the blurb, and had not clue what was to come, and it was great that way.

If you like any books with witches, in the modern world, and the paranormal type books, then you will love this book.

I know I did. Hope many more follow! This has major promise of a great series. I can’t wait for Chasing the Witch!! Hope its out soon.

5 out of 5 stars here. Amazing read!!

The Best Witches on Television and in the Movies

First off I just want to thank you for having me on your blog today. I’m going to share with you my favorite witches from TV and Movies :)

1      Hermione Granger from Harry Potter- I’ve always been a huge Harry Potter nerd, I think I’ve read all the books like 4 times lol. I loved Hermione from the start, she’s so smart and was never afraid to let that show.
2      Samantha from Bewitched- I used to watch this show as a child with my mom, and I always wanted to be just like Samantha. I used to practice trying to wiggle my nose lol.
3      Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer- Her magic made her so sure of herself. She had always been so shy and introverted before she came into her power. It was nice to see her embrace what she was and use it to fight evil.
4      Sabrina the Teenaged Witch- This was probably my favorite show when I was a kid. Magic was always so fun to me, and this show was just campy enough for me to love.
5      The Halliwell sisters from Charmed- I adored this show. I loved the use of a spellbook and that they fought evil on this show.
6      The witches from Hocus Pocus- This movie scared me to death when I was little but I still totally loved it.
7      Bonnie Bennet from the Vampire Diaries- She is scary how powerful she is. I love that she’s not afraid to use her power.
8      Sally and Gillian Owens from Practical Magic- I think I’ve seen this movie at least 100 times. I love the bond between the sisters, and of course all of the magic. Their aunts always cracked me up too.
9      The Evil Queen from Once Upon a Time- She so wonderfully wicked. Had to throw at least one bad witch in here.
10   Azkadelia from Tin Man- I loved this mini-series. Her take on being the Wicked Witch was amazing.

Thanks again for having me today!
