Teaser #1
As she trudged along, her bag swinging against her back, she sighed. It was freaking hard to be a poor-ass Texan vampire. Nothing about it was easy or fun.

Teaser #2

“No, no! You should come here!” Her grandmother grabbed her arm tightly and pulled her into the kitchen. “We are your family and we love you even if you are…is Dracula real?”
Amaliya laughed, then shook her head. “I don't know. I don't know anything!” She flung up her hands, then collapsed onto a kitchen chair. “That is the problem! I don't know anything! It's all been by instinct.”

Pretty When She Dies (Pretty When She Dies #1)
by Rhiannon Frater

Blurb
Amaliya wakes under the forest floor, disoriented, famished and confused. She digs out of the shallow grave and realizes she is hungry...

... in a new, horrific, unimaginable way...

Sating her great hunger, she discovers that she is now a vampire, the bloodthirsty creature of legend. She has no choice but to flee from her old life and travels across Texas. Her new hunger spurs her to leave a wake of death and blood behind her as she struggles with her new nature.

All the while, her creator is watching. He is ancient, he is powerful, and what's worse is that he's a necromancer. He has the power to force the dead to do his bidding. Amaliya realizes she is but a pawn in a twisted game, and her only hope for survival is to seek out one of her own kind.

But if Amaliya finds another vampire, will it mean her salvation... or her death?

Here is the other in the series, with WAY BETTER covers, that first book one is bad, but at least the rest are great.

Teaser #1
His golden eyes locked on hers with such intensity it stole her breath. “I would never want to hurt you.” Cupping her face, he rubbed his thumb along her unmarked cheek. “I could never hurt you. If anything ever happened to you, I fear I will be trapped on the Edge forever.” Leaning in, he lightly kissed her bruise. “I think of you constantly.” He kissed her forehead. “Always.” Then with the lightest touch, he kissed her lips.

Teaser #2
Her vision blurred, going white with nausea as the ship surged into warp. The fire that she'd been able to contain in her arm now swallowed her completely. In vain, she gasped for air that wasn't filled with liquid heat. Her lungs burned, her skin burned, the blood in her veins burned with every merciless beat of her heart.

Demon Possession
Shadow Quest - Book 1
Kiersten Fay

Genre: Paranormal / Sci-fi Romance

Publisher: Kiersten Fay Productions
Date of Publication: April 19, 2011

Book Description:

After being enslaved on the spaceship Extarga for most of her life Analia has no memory of her life before, and has lost all knowledge of her people. Her mysterious gift and pointed ears are the only indication that she is different.

Analia is alone, and for all she knows, she's the last of her kind. By chance Analia escapes her captors, and hides herself on the merchant ship Marada, planning to get off at the very next stop.

Unfortunately for her, there is no next stop. The crew is planning a delivery that could take months, and according to a stipulation in the newly signed contract, no one is allowed on or off the ship until the package is delivered.

When Analia is found by the  captain of the Marada, she must adapt to her new role on the ship, and try to control her newly awakened desire for the brutal and devastatingly erotic demon.

Here is my review of Demon Possession Here.  Which also has a giveaway if you want to check it out.

Note: If someone knows about coding and all that for blogger, I would love some advice, I need to get rid of the old signature at bottom of all my post, the blue one, I made a new matching one, that's above it, I used the CSS way to add the new one, but can't find out how to get rid of the old one. I think I added that one in the edit HTML area, and usually you click expand widgets or whatever but now, blogger changed all of that, and there is not such button. Now I am lost to get the ugly extra signature off. Please anyone who knows, I beg for help, lol. Trying to clean up my blog of clutter and that is an eyesore to me.

thanks

The Collector (Dante Walker #1)

He makes good girls...bad.

Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence have made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple: weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.

Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal-opportunity collector and doesn't want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:

Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within ten days.

Dante doesn't know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect, he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector…and uncover emotions deeply buried.

Teaser#1
“I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who can handle my weapon with such gracefulness.” He gives me a devious, dimpled grin. Pure evil. There’s no other way to describe somebody like him. The octopus slows down as though Seth has issued some kind of silent command.“Here, take your balls and chains. They disgust me.” I hold the rod out and let the weapon fall to the ground.“I couldn’t tell. From where I stood, you seemed to have been enjoying them very much,” Seth teases.I roll my eyes at his innuendo, and say, “You are just as disgusting as that weapon.”

Teaser #2
I stop at once, spin around, and blindly swing Mother’s sword at the air. Nope. That’s won’t do. I pick up a rock and toss it. The thud I hear lets me know I struck the monster bird somewhere on its body.“Ouch! It’s me, Chela. Stop throwing shit, would you?” Seth’s voice says in my head. The creature sweeps toward me. Its talons—no wait—its arms are outstretched and prepared to scoop me up, the silhouette of something that’s a cross between an angel and a demon of the night.I tilt my head back. I am no longer able to stay awake. I have no energy left to try and save myself. Before I fall back and hit the ground, my body lifts. I drift in and out of consciousness.

When Silver Moons Rise (Lost Immortals #2)

Facing an unstable future, Chela Prizeon leaves Castle Hayne and crosses over to enemy territory in pursuit of Faris--the boy of royal blood who is cursed by a bitter rival. But soon Chela learns that he has been taken deep into the treacherous frozen prisons--a majestic, but deadly place where people enter and are never seen again. To find the boy she loves, Chela must join forces with one of her greatest enemies. And even though she pulls strength from the good in her powers, she finds herself drawn to the dark side's temptation as well.
Narrated from both Chela's and Faris's point of view, this enchanting sequel to When Copper Suns Fall will take them on a voyage into unknown lands, where the dark, twisted, and revengeful wait to make this their most dangerous journey ever.

“Don’t eagles hunt down rats and eat them, tail and all? I bet she has ratass breath.”Nik laughed. “I’ll not tell her you said that. Why don’t you like her?”Kell shook his head. “I like Robin fine. But a hundred-pound woman who can out do me on the bench press threatens my manhood, and I’m man enough to admit it.”

Teaser #1
I made to jump out of the way, but all my knowledge and stolen tricks didn’t make me fly, or move faster, or be any less breakable than any other human being. I knew in that moment how useless my ability really was. In the face of the giant metal monster brimming with torque, my mind was of no matter, it just screamed out with the desire to live, to keep going.
There was a blow like a train hitting me, but strangely there was no pain, and I was  moving faster than I could have imagined away from the truck and into the field next to the road.

Teaser #2

I took a deep breath and made a decision, one that rocked me to my core and made me  doubt my sanity.
“I can read minds. I can learn everything about you from just one touch, and apparently I can implant memories in your brain and make you do things without meaning to,” I stated baldly,
planning to just brazen it out and see where things led.

Teaser #1
Quadruple crap. Why couldn’t I control myself? Why did he have this effect on me? “Are you compelling me right now?”To my surprise, his smile held an edge of sadness. “That would give you a much needed excuse, but I am afraid I am not.”Curse my body for reacting to his. As long as I kept him out of my heart, I would be okay.I think it a bit too late for that, my dear.”You’re using old man speak again.” I made a face. “It’s creepy.”He chuckled. “I’ll try to remember that, but I haven’t been around humans much in the past hundred years. It’s hard to keep up with the changes in common dialect.”Let’s keep on topic, Jett. You were going to teach me how to control my mind.”

Teaser #2
Once freed from the barrier our souls connected briefly before he pulled away. In that insanely short time, I knew him. It would take me an eternity to sort through all this information, but I couldn’t wait that long.I flung myself at him and peppered his face with kisses. He laughed and pulled me tighter, pushing me up against the closed door. He braced my back and lifted. I wrapped my legs around his waist, preparing for the best kiss of my life.Ahem.”I clamped my eyes shut and groaned. How had I forgotten Grace was in the room? I lowered myself to the floor and Heath gave me a look that told me we would finish this later.Oh yeah we would.

Teaser #1
“Russell?”
“Yeah! You got my back now?” Russell asks in a sour tone, looking over the railing from the tower above. “’Cuz one of them freaky demon things almost ate me after y’all left!”
“A Riser nearly ate you?” Reed asks with humor in his tone
“Yeah, whatever—it’s not funny!” he calls down, sounding irritated. “Next time, I want Zee for my wingman.”
“That is because I am the ultimate assassin,” Zephyr replies from behind Reed.

Teaser #2

“Russell,” Zephyr replies, and his tone is a little tight as he rests his hand on Russell’s shoulder. “The last time I saw you, you were being eaten by Gancanagh.”
“Apparently, I’m delicious,” Russell says with a cheeky grin as Zephyr drops his hand. “Is Buns here, too?” he asks Zephyr.
“Nearby. She is not fighting,” Zephyr answers with a frown, “at least, she better not be. She was told to stay in the tower gate.”
“Did she go postal?” Russell grins at him, “You know, for pullin’ her portal on the island and sendin’ her to your safe house before the fight?”
“Define postal?” Zephyr counters, his brows pulling together further.
“Insanely angry,” Russell says.
“Yes,” Zephyr nods his head adamantly, pointing at him. “She has not called me ‘sweetie’ since.”
“Oooo,” Russell says, ducking his head and wrinkling his nose. “Doghouse.”
“Yes,” Zephyr agrees blandly. “We must discuss how I am to get out of it.

Go Here to read my review, with a Dream Cast also, some hot guys there, lol.

Incendiary (The Premonition #4)

(Summary for this is more of a teaser, see the first books Summary at Goodreads to really learn more)

Cold, fine drops of rain fall softly on my cheeks as I emerge from the darkness of the ship's interior to the gray, overcast sky of the main deck. Pulling my dark pea coat tighter to my body, the wind lifts red tendrils of my hair. I walk slowly to the railing overlooking the water.
I catch my first sight of the Irish coastline; its craggy landscape makes me shiver in dread. I find it difficult to imagine now how the Gancanagh had made this their home for so long without anyone realizing it. The cold, moss-covered edifices practically scream their presence. As I study the shadows between the falling-down stone, I imagine creeping shapes of undead Faeries grasping the rock, waiting for our ship to draw nearer to their position.
Tipping my face up, I let the rain wash over me. It bathes away the frigid sweat of fear that has broken on my brow. "You don't know how fiercely beautiful you are, do you?" A quiet voice behind me asks, causing me to stiffen and fix my eyes on the rocks along the shoreline.

Teaser #1
I fist my hands in anger and frustration, instinctively trying to draw on my magic. But there’s nothing, not the least inkling of power. While there have been many times I wished I could leave my power behind, now that it’s gone I feel too vulnerable.

Teaser #2 ( From Grace’s POV)
I look at my lower arm but can’t see the damage because it’s covered with my long-sleeved T-shirt. But it doesn’t matter. More than anything, I need to find Keller. I have to believe he’s alive. I can’t even think otherwise. I yank against the manacles holding my wrists and ankles to thick metal rings. I pull so hard that sweat beads on my forehead and my joints ache with the effort, but it’s no use. I’m helpless, at the mercy of whoever walks through the door across from me.The tears finally spill over and track down my cheeks. Not knowing Keller’s fate is killing me.
