Teaser #1 (from Josh’s Pov, the POV go back and forth from Josh, and Grace)
Charlotte appeared from nowhere and grabbed my attacker. Something snapped and it echoed into the morning. He screamed then released me, and I fell to the ground as he retreated nursing a broken arm.Grace appeared beside Charlotte and both of them stood over me. Great, I was being protected by two girls, how humiliating.
Teaser #2 ( From Grace’s POV)
Before I knew what was happening, Seth had hold of me. He wasn’t rough, but he wasn’t tender either. He stroked my cheek again, and I gave in. My eyes closed and I pushed my face into his hand, feeling the memories of our entire life together flood through me and engulf me completely. He leant down and pressed his forehead to mine, and I knew he wanted to kiss me; it was taking all his strength to hold back. Surprised, I discovered how badly I wanted him, and deep inside my heart I knew we were right for each other.

Hidden Gates (P.J. Stone Gates Trilogy #1)
by D.T. Dyllin
First Paragraph Of Chapter One:
“Hey P.J.” Evan’s raspy voice commanded my attention from beside my locker. I glanced over to meet his deep brown eyes with surprise. “I was wondering what you were doing this weekend?”
“Me?” I squeaked. Evan Thompson was actually speaking to me, and he knew my name.
“Yeah, you. I don’t see anyone else around, do you?”
My eyes traveled the length of the empty hallway and back. When did that happen? “No, I just—” I was silenced when Evan brought his hand up to caress the side of my face before slipping his fingers into my hair. The contact of his skin on mine made me tingle with awareness as his powers slid into me.
“How have I never noticed you before?” His voice had dropped down into a more intimate tone, and his eyes flashed with lust just before he pushed me back against the lockers and captured my lips with his. I groaned with pleasure as his tongue slid into my mouth to intertwine with mine, and his muscled body pushed firmly against me. The hand that wasn’t holding me captive by my hair moved down to—
“What?” I said with annoyance as I felt someone pinch the back of my arm, startling me back to reality.
I looked up to see my best friend Bryn’s dark blue eyes glittering with amusement. “Day dreaming again? Who was it this time? Let me guess.”
His hands tangled in my hair, and just like the night before, I found myself pushed up against a tree by Bryn. The way he was kissing me was different than before though, he was being more forceful, and there seemed to be an undercurrent of desperation. All my nerve endings felt like they crackled with his energy, and a wave of pure lust slammed into me. “I can’t lose you. I just can’t,” he rumbled into my mouth.
For P.J. Stone, being a “Seer” who has never seen anything is less than fun. And P.J. isn’t known for her patience.
To make matters worse, she must choose a suitable mate to continue the Seer bloodline. Duty always comes before her heart…at least that’s what her parents taught her. When she finds herself wanting someone who is considered off-limits, P.J. is forced to question everything she believes.
As if navigating her love life isn’t complicated enough, P.J. finally receives a vision—of a threat to her world that only she can perceive. But no one will believe a fledgling Seer’s warnings. With nowhere else to turn, she may decide to trust a stranger with her life, her world, and maybe even her heart.
