One lost love.

One lost best friend.

One hot soul reaper.

Straight out of the psyche ward, Cora just wants her life to be normal. She doesn’t want to see souls or the reapers collecting them. The love of her life, the guy she’s loved from a distance for years, has moved away without saying goodbye. So yes, she’s nursing a serious heartbreak. It’s no wonder love is the last thing on her mind when Echo storms into her life.

The chemistry between them is mind-blowing. The connection defies logic. It doesn’t help that Echo is the poster boy for everything she hates in a guy—hot, beautiful, and cocky. A general pain-in-the-butt. Being around him makes her feel more alive than she’s ever felt before. But more important, the souls leave her alone when he is around.

Echo is perfect for her. Echo might even be her soul-mate. There is only one problem. Echo is a freaking soul reaper. A Grimnir. The very beings she wants out of her life. Maybe normal is overrated because Cora wants it all. Answers. Love. A life. You see, once you fall for a Grimnir, your life will never be the same again.

**No spoilers for this book only**

I absolutely Love this series. This book is told from Raines friend, Cora’s point of view. But don’t worry if you you’re a huge Raine and Torrin fan, as they are also in this book and play a big part in everything.

The main guy in this one, Echo is so sexy and hot, and all things yummy.  He has that bad boy attitude down, and then he does show a sensitive side that I liked to see.

Over all this book was very exciting and on the edge of your seat suspense. I can’t wait for the next book for sure. This series is a must read for anyone who enjoys Paranormal Romance like I do. I love the Norse Mythology in this one, its interesting for sure.

Warning: If you did not read the previous books, then do not read below this warning, as there will be spoilers for it. It’s almost impossible to say anything about this book which is #2.5 in the series without possible spoilers from the other books.

I like that we learned more at what happened with Cora, as she does reflect back to her time away at the psyc ward, and how the evil Norn had taken her place in school, and even her vlog. She was very confused for sure seeing herself do vlog post while she was away.

I highly recommend and give this book 5 out of 5 stars. It’s on my favorites list for sure.

I received this book from the author for my honest review.

At home, I stepped out of the truck and stared in shock at the huge dent on the side and runes drawn all over it. How could my parents not see the dent or the runes? I knew runes were powerful enough to make people invisible. Obviously, they also made people not see things.

Mom put her arm around me. “It’s amazing, isn’t it? No mark on the car after we almost landed in a ditch.”

No marks indeed. I wished my parents goodnight on the run, needing to be in my room. Please, let him be there. I pushed open the door and looked inside.

It was empty.

“Echo?” I called out, but there was no response.

Disappointed, I got ready for bed, fought sleep, and waited for him as long as I could. Where was he? Was he the dark figure in the middle of the road? Had one of his people tried to kill us? Why had an Immortal marked me?
